Well, I would still like to meet people in person, but with life getting faster and faster and people moving all around the world Blogs & Chats can help us share ideas, talk and chit chat without any cost.....a great advantage.
On other hand it may also lead us to a "culture" where we start loosing the human touch and end up running our lives from our computer screens...

Very true. But you see, the person at the other end of the internet is also a real person, sending their thoughts to you through cyberspace - I think that most of the time its the fact that we don't have real people around us that brings us to BLogs and Chats - real people who are interested in our views and opinions, who wish to have a conversation with us - Maybe that is one reason why people reach out to other like minded people across cyberspace - Maybe there aren't many who can be seen and heard in person in their actual living space!

I don't know why I blog. It's cathartic for me. I like to voice my opinion. I like creative writing. Blogging is a wonderful medium of sending your thoughts/views across.

Hey Ayesha,
Its a fact what you have mentioned. Ever wondered why?
Maybe its because in real life, around people, no one has patience to listen to your views...So blogs help. If only one could find that angel who listens...

For me its a canvas painted, fuelled by our thoughts and concerns and then posted in a world which is virtual and real at the same time..If one were to take this in spirtual sense as a way of self expression then the best example I can think of what we write and meet others as like drawing comfort from distant stars.....cannot get there but know of its serenity and light and the notion embedded in us of adventure and progress...And in the process, we become part of the galactic light - distant and yet there for its warmth and direction......

The above message may provide an element of confusion as I have written this in a state of fever and drowsines from cough mixtures - the great pharmaceutical adventure for humanity.

And this leads onto another idea for a poem which depicts how we see ourselves, our roles in this world, our aspirations and how we can fuse this idea with the whole cosmos

Writing poems in "a state of fever and drowsines from cough mixtures - the great pharmaceutical adventure for humanity" is never a good idea. Best to sleep it off. Read only now, comment later. Get well Soon!
