I don't know about it :-)
I can't develop bonding easily... and when I do, I don't want to lose that person. But yes, bonding is developed when you have mutual respect, can listen to each other, have unconditional love (in case of friendships as well) similar interests (if not all at least some of them)all these are the ingrediants of a bonding.

Bonding to me is all of the above what Ayesha described plus an element of our life which is in its own existence and formation.Bonding does not rely on nearness or distance..it happens..It is that spirit that is freed inside our ribs when these things happen, and when it does, then the level of awareness and insight increases. But in traditional tendency bonding is abused for various purposes.....Bonding to me is as the old sufis were to the beats and the rhythms

Interesting - But you know, its very simple really - you both getting too technical for me - On this site for example, we have developed an easy respect and mutual understanding - We seem to enjoy each others company - that is BONDING to me at least - nice and simple!

hahahah...not really....its like a writer's first hour of clearing up thoughts before the moments of comfort and peace arrives...
But yes you are right; simplicity is the key but at times, all the simple effects have one of the most complex intracicies in the background.

You lost be there - I dont understand the concept of

"all the simple effects have one of the most complex intracicies in the background."

I am a new writer - my thought get cleared up the minute I hold a pen - before that - there is just a jumbled up storm of ideas - which make sense only when the first word touches the paper.

Well, there are two types of (chemical) bondings:
Ionic: caused by the mutual affinity developed by the atoms when they lose/gain electrons and become ions.
Covalent: when there is no need to lose or gain electrons, instead atoms share them.
I would refer to the first as conditional bonding, and to the second as unconditional bonding, since one has to lose something to gain something in the former case, while there are no losses and only gains in the latter. Human being are equally capable of both kinds of bonding, depends entirely on their individual traits and dispositions.
